Orange announced the price for LG GD910

You know when people said that the LG GD910, the first ‘serious’ watch phone, will launch in Europe for about 1ooo EUR (1600$)? Well, they were wrong, but not by a long shot as Orange France announced that the subsidized price for LG GD910 will be 899 EURO with a contract (details on the data and voice plan were not released).

I don’t know about you, but I think Samsung will take advantage of this enormous price, as the their first watch phone model, the S9110 will retail for around 450 EUROs, half the price of the LG.

UPDATE: It seems that Orange had second thoughts about LG’s price, so it lowered it to 500EUR, still too much for the common man, but better than the first announced 1000EUR. I’m wondering if it will be available with 12 month phone contracts or more.
