Samsung joins the watch phone arena with the thinnest watchpone: S9110
2 Comments posted in Watch PhonesCoreeans are very competitive people, just watch the LG and Samsung battle: one gets a new product on the market, the other follows. That’s also the case with the watch phone market, as Samsung today announced world’s thinnest watch phone, the S9110 model, as a counterattack to LG’s GD910 that will soon ship to US and UK.

I like the looks of Samsung S9110
Let’s see what Samsung S9110 has to offer in its very nice shell:
- just 11.98 mm thickness
- 1.76 inch touchscreen
- Bluetooth
- Voice recognition
- Email access (that won’t be too easy to use)
- speakerphone
- music player
- scratch resistang glass
- stainless steel body and leather wrist belt
What’s interesting it’s the price: 450 EURO, twice as cheap as LG’s offering. What’s missing in the box is 3G conectivity and the video calling feature

Samsung S9110 should appeal to women too

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am interested in buying a Samsung watch phone S9110 with metal bracelet.
Please advise if there is any and what is the price.
I am staying in Singapore, therefore please let me know the total cost inclusive of air freight charges.
Thank you.
Chris, the watch phone was only announced. It will be available in a few months (or so Samsung says). I’ll update this article when it will hit shelves, so please check back (or subscribe via RSS).
