Coreeans are very competitive people, just watch the LG and Samsung battle: one gets a new product on the market, the other follows. That’s also the case with the watch phone market, as Samsung today announced world’s thinnest watch phone, the S9110 model, as a counterattack to LG’s GD910 that will soon ship to US and UK.

Let’s see what Samsung S9110 has to offer in its very nice shell:

  • just 11.98 mm thickness
  • 1.76 inch touchscreen
  • Bluetooth
  • Voice recognition
  • Email access (that won’t be too easy to use)
  • speakerphone
  • music player
  • scratch resistang glass
  • stainless steel body and leather wrist belt

What’s interesting it’s the price: 450 EURO, twice as cheap as LG’s offering. What’s missing in the box is 3G conectivity and the video calling feature

Chris, the watch phone was only announced. It will be available in a few months (or so Samsung says). I’ll update this article when it will hit shelves, so please check back (or subscribe via RSS).
