Sony Ericsson is a brand associated with mobile phones but they also produce accessories and a few Bluetooth Watches, which sync with your Sony Ericsson cell phone displaying various infos which are immediately accessible on the wrist watch screen.

One of those watches is the MBW-150 Executive Edition, which features a professional looking stainless steel bracelet plus a discreet OLED screen that is used to display the informations received from a Sony Ericsson phone paired with the watch.

Other functions include autopairing with a Bluetooth compatible Sony Ericsson phone, so there’s no need to input a PIN code. You can control the phone’s MP3 player (play, pause, skip) through the MBW-150 Executive watch. The watch also features a rechargeable battery. The MBW-150 also can display a message when a new SMS or MMS arrives, and the Caller’s ID when you receive a phone call.

I have MBW-150 Sony Ericsson bluetooth watch. After 2 years display started to fade so now it is impossible to read even under cloudy day. Sony Ericsson Support answer was in short “Buy a new one”. For a wrist watch of that price I expected minimum of 5-10 years of life

I agree with you LeCoux, it’s normal for a watch to last many years, more than your high end smartphone. Sony Ericsson is very disappointing lately, hope they get their act together.

I’ve got the same problem. Sent it off to an approved sony repair place. I’ve been quoted £99.62 to get it repaired, or £11.75 to have it posted back untouched. Great customer service- NOT !!!! Expensive watch as it only lasted 2 years. Thanks Sony

After 2 years (I used the watch only 10 times) my display has faded too!

    Avoid Sony Ericsson watches!!
I have returned my MBW-150 for the display to be repaired within 12 months of purchase from an established Amazon seller. Because I did not get a VAT invoice, only an Amazon seller invoice, SE refuse to authorise a warranty repair & will charge me £89.50 for replacement (not repair!) or £10 for doing nothing more than posting it back to me.
I thought Sony Ericsson was a brand worth buying… I was clearly mistaken!
